A Unique Approach to Healing

Dr. Daniel Koo, also known as “Dr. Dan”, specializes in non-conventional medicine. He is trained in Family Medicine, Functional Environmental Medicine, and Biofeedback Testing. Instead of treating ICD-10 illnesses (conventional medicine terms), he focuses on restoring the body’s natural balance.

Terrain Medicine: Treating the Individual and the Environment

Dr. Dan’s practice is unique because he treats both the individual and their environment. He uses photo resonance testing to evaluate the body for infections, toxins, and traumas, as well as to test the environment for toxins and stressors.

Most providers have not been taught to evaluate the environment. However, Dr. Dan believes that a good environment is foundational for healing. The gold standard of his care is listening to the wisdom of the body and the environment, as symptoms and signs are intelligent responses that provide essential clues to the root cause, both for the body and the environment.

Dr Dan is brilliant. After seeing the top Drs in Boston, Dr Dan is the only one who had the skill set to handle what we finally figured out was environmental illness. He is brilliant, compassionate, very kind and extremely knowledgeable. He has studied the best protocols and he gives therapies that treat in the order the body needs, in order to heal, What he gives helps!!! Dr. Dan is a unsung hero. Dr Daniel Cagua-Koo is one of the finest doctors, and finest human beings, I have ever had the privilege of knowing. His knowledge of the intricacies of biotoxin illness, and of the human body in general, is beyond exceptional. Dr. Dan is a skilled and compassionate listener, able to think out of the box, and problem-solve complex issues with ease. He is a rare doctor in this day and age, who sees the patient as a whole, not just results on a lab print-out or a list of symptoms. And, he’s able to put everything together – the whole big picture – and figure out what’s happening and how to help each patient to the best of his ability. He is also extremely humble, not the least bit arrogant (yes, he’s an MD!), and will readily refer patients to other practitioners as needed. His priority is always the patient’s welfare, not his own ego, and certainly not financial gain. Dr. Dan is always willing to learn new things, and listen to input from patients, which is also extremely rare in modern medicine, and certainly an invaluable trait. For example, a few years ago, I asked him about a treatment that I thought might be helpful for me. He thoroughly researched it, and not only told me that he was in agreement that it would help me, but thanked me for pushing him to expand his medical knowledge base. What other doctor would do something like that?! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dan. He is a rare gem, and has helped me and my family so much, in so many different situations, that I can never adequately express my gratitude to him.
